Call for Papers: Visual Media Lab Conference 2025 – "Reality Check"

We are pleased to invite submissions for the Visual Media Lab Conference 2025, themed "Reality Check," which will take place from April 11-12, 2025, at Hochschule der Medien Stuttgart, Germany.

Conference Focus: "Reality Check" will delve into practice-based and practice-led research in the fields of media production, visual aesthetics, and the ever-evolving working environments and conditions shaping the future of media. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Media Production & Innovation
  • Visual Aesthetics for Media
  • Working Environments and Conditions in Media Industries
  • Advancements in Media Technology including AI Tools
  • Visual Storytelling
  • Diversity and Representation in Media
  • Sustainability in Media Production

The conference is committed to fostering a collaborative environment that brings together companies, universities, and research institutions to accelerate technological and aesthetic innovation as well as cutting-edge production methods.
