Cinematography of Today Conference & BIP Street Photography Program & Welcoming Guide

The Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) Still Photography for Cinematography Students brings together students and faculty from Portugal, Germany, Belgium, and Spain for an international learning experience that explores the relationship between still photography and cinematography.
Through a combination of online seminars and an intensive week in Lisbon, participants will study the work of influential street photographers, develop their own photographic projects, experiment with analogue and alternative photographic processes, and reflect on how photographic thinking can enrich visual storytelling in film. The programme culminates in a public exhibition of student work and participation in the international conference The Cinematography of Today.
The BIP promotes intercultural exchange, creative collaboration, and the development of visual literacy by encouraging students to engage with Lisbon’s diverse urban landscape through photography.
